SAN JUANS, Wash. — A 3.5 magnitude earthquake occurred Tuesday morning around 11 a.m. near the San Juans.
Seismograph waveforms showed the travel of seismic waves out from the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

Washington State Emergency Management officials say there are no reports of injuries or damage. The earthquake occurred around 10 miles southeast of Friday Harbor.

Within a half an hour, 35 people in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and 10 in Coupeville, Washington reported to the USGS that they felt it, according to the Associated Press.
