A shootout between one person on foot and four people in an SUV ended in a car chase Sunday night, Kent police say.
Both the individual on foot and the people in the car shot at each other, authorities said. No one appeared to be injured as of 7:08 p.m.
The shooting occurred near 256th Street and 29th Avenue SE.
Kent police pursued the SUV after it left the scene. The vehicle crashed while police were pursuing it.
Two of the four occupants were apprehended. Two are still at large.
The individual who was on foot is being detained and is cooperating with investigators.
Authorities say this appears to be a gang-related incident.
