FALL CITY, Wash. — Firefighters with Eastside Fire and Rescue were called Friday night to the scene of a small plane crash in Fall City.
When first responders arrived in the 36000 block of Southeast David Powell Road, they found a plane on its top, officials said.
The King County Sheriff's Office said a man and woman in their 50s were in the two-seater aircraft when the pilot reported engine trouble.
The man and the woman were able to walk away with only scrapes and bruises but were taken to Overlake Hospital as a precaution.
Fire officials said the plane hit the ground at about 110 mph and there was no fire or fuel spill.
The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the crash.
