SEATTLE — Crews with the Seattle Fire Department responded after flames erupted from a boat docked in South Lake Union early Saturday morning.
A 45-foot boat docked near the Center for Wooden Boats at Valley Street and Fairview Avenue North caught fire around 4 a.m.
The fire was under control by around 5:15 a.m.
Crews then worked to establish equipment around the boat to prevent oil and other contaminants from spreading in the water.
No other boats were damaged and no injuries were reported, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
