A manhunt is underway for two teens who attacked a senior-aged couple in South Seattle.
One victim, a 71-year-old woman, was shot in the shoulder and pistol-whipped during a home invasion in Seattle’s Rainier Beach area on Tuesday.
The incident happened at their home in the 10700 block of Renton Avenue South before 4 p.m.
The woman was rushed to Harborview Medical Center where she remains in serious but stable condition.
Officers scoured the neighborhood looking for two possible gunmen, but the suspects remain at large.
Police released these descriptions:
- One suspect is described as a light-skinned black male in his late teens who is 6 feet tall, wearing a white jacket and white pants and armed with a black handgun.
- The second suspect is also described as a light-skinned black male teen, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a skinny build and a mustache. He was wearing a blue jacket and dark pants.
The suspects were last seen running southbound from the house.
Police obtained surveillance video from a neighbor, which they are reviewing.
