LYNNWOOD, Wash. — A body found in a Lynnwood pond Wednesday has been tentatively identified as a man in his 40s, according to Lynnwood police.
Crews worked to recover the body from Sprague's Pond at Mini Park, located near 200th Street SW and Cedar Valley Road.
Officials are waiting for confirmation of identity from the Medical Examiner's office. The cause of death is still under investigation.
The body had been removed from the pond by 5:30 p.m. An age and gender for the deceased person had not been determined.
