OLYMPIA, Wash. — A body was found inside a car parked in Olympia’s Marathon Park late Thursday.
According to the State Patrol, officers with the Olympia Police Department were checking on the car when they found the body.
The State Patrol has jurisdiction in the park because it is part of the Capitol Campus.
Officials said no foul play is suspected, but they are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the actual cause of death.
The identity will not be released until the next of kin has been notified, officials said.
