When they arrived at the scene, deputies said they found a 33-year-old man with a stab wound to his chest. The man was transported from the scene to Providence Medical Center, where he died.

In their investigation, detectives said they learned of an ongoing feud between two groups of juvenile girls and both sides made threats to get their adult family members involved.

Around 9 p.m. Sunday, deputies said three adult men and multiple juvenile girls arrived at the victim’s apartment complex. Two of the men then began arguing with the victim and a 35-year-old man.

Deputies said the argument then turned physical and one of the men stabbed the 33-year-old before driving away.

The 35-year-old suffered a laceration near his eye and was treated by medics at the scene.

Detectives said they are still working to identify the suspects involved, and their investigation remains ongoing.
