SEATTLE — Police are investigating a deadly crash that has closed Martin Luther King Junior Way in Seattle.
A car was split in two after crashing into a pole at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. The driver died when they were ejected from their vehicle.
MLK is closed northbound between Merten Way S and S Henderson. As of 6:30 a.m.,Seattle DOT said that stretch of the road would be closed for 10 hours while crews replace the pole.
Another car was involved in the crash.
Police said the crash may have been caused by racing.
