SOUTH HILL, Wash. — A fire engulfed a home in South Hill on Sunday night.
Crews with Central Pierce Fire & Rescue were called to the area of 128th Street and 78th Avenue East.
Firefighters said the family was at home, but they were able to escape with their dog. The family cat did not appear to have escaped.
No injuries were reported.
Crews said the fire also gutted several vehicles, including what appeared to be an RV.
Fire investigators have not said what caused the fire.
The investigation is ongoing.
