SEATTLE — Seattle Fire says a car drove off SR99 northbound on Southern Ave South and stuck a telephone pole, knocking it down onto Southern Avenue.
Power lines came down across parked cars, and two separate locations required separate dispatch call outs.
Hazmat was called to inspect transformer leaks, but Seattle City Light determined the transformers did not contain hazardous materials.
A female driver self-extricated from the car, but no injuries were reported.
Seattle City Light is on the scene to repair the power pole.
