An Amber Alert was issued Monday for a 6-year-old girl missing and possibly endangered out of the Spokane area. The Amber Alert was canceled when she was found safe at about 3:30 p.m.
WHAT TO KNOW:

The alert was issued Monday afternoon for missing Danika Packard, 6.
Danika had last been seen at Woodward Elementary, then eastbound near I-90 and McQuire Road. Police believe she may be in danger. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink or purple top.
Officials were also looking for a maroon Buick LeSabre "WA-934YVS" and her 35-year-old mother, Tracy Packard.
The incident was reported to deputies Monday morning after Danika's school called her father and informed him Tracy had pulled Danika from school to "go be with the Lord."
Danika and her mother were safely located Monday by an alert citizen, officials say. Danika has been returned to her father; her mother is being evaluated.
