A large fire damaged a vacant building in the Beacon Hill neighborhood.
The fire broke out a little after midnight at the building on South Hill Street near Rainier Avenue South and 23rd Avenue South.
Crews circled the building in a defensive stance and doused it with water.

The fire was put out around 1 a.m. There were no injuries.
Officials don’t know yet why the fire started.
