LYNDEN, Wash. — Troopers are investigating a fatal crash Friday near Lynden.
The crash happened near State Route 546 to Vinup Road before 1:45 p.m.
Troopers said a semi tried to avoid a truck that was stopped while waiting to turn onto Vinup Road.
The semi crossed the eastbound lanes of SR 546 and struck an SUV head on.
The roadway was closed for troopers to investigate.
