EDMONDS, Wash. — A 34-year-old Edmonds man is in custody after a standoff Sunday with police.
According to officials with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, the armed man barricaded himself in a home in the 5000 block of 163rd Place Southwest. The situation started sometime after 10 a.m.
After five hours, the man surrendered to a SWAT team called to the scene.
No injuries were reported.
Police did not say what led to the standoff but are investigating.
The suspect, a 34 year-old Edmonds man, is in custody. After a 5 hour standoff with the Region 1 SWAT team, the suspect surrendered and was safely apprehended. No injuries.
