SHORELINE, Wash. — A man is recovering after he was shot in a strip mall parking lot in Shoreline early Friday.
Police said that shortly before 2 a.m., a man and his girlfriend were in a car in the parking lot of the Central Market at Westminster Way North and Aurora Avenue North.

They went there to meet a friend, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
At some point during the meeting, an argument started between the two men and the suspect fired at least one shot, striking the victim.
The couple then drove themselves to Northwest Hospital in what police said was a car that had been reported stolen out of Seattle.
The victim, a 34-year-old Seattle man, was then transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
King County deputies are looking for the shooter.
The man's girlfriend, a 31-year-old from Renton, was not hurt.
