Man and woman hit in Lake City drive-by shooting

SEATTLE — Numerous shell casings littered the scene where two people were hit in a drive-by shooting in Seattle.

Officers were called to Northeast 115th Street and 31st Avenue Northeast in a residential neighborhood in Lake City at 11:50 p.m. Sunday.

Police arrived to find a man and a woman on the ground who had been shot and were being cared for by witnesses.

Both victims were taken to Harborview. The woman was in stable condition and the man was in serious condition.

Police were told the gunshots came from a dark-colored sedan and hit the victims as they sat in their own car.

A white sedan was towed from the scene and a neighbor said he saw what looked like a bullet hole in the car.
