One person sustained critical burns in a house fire in Port Orchard on Saturday morning, police say.
South Kitsap Fire and Rescue responded to a structure fire in the 2600 block of Lund Avenue Southeast shortly after 10:50 a.m. The house was 50 percent involved when crews arrived but the fire was quickly extinguished.
One patient was treated for critical burns and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
