SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. — Part of westbound I-90 was closed after a fatal motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon.
Traffic was detoured off at exit 47 along I-90 and then directed back onto the freeway, Trooper Rick Johnson with the Washington State Patrol said.
Two people were on the motorcycle involved. A DOT truck was hit, Johnson said.
One person died.
Officials with the Washington State Patrol at 1:50 p.m. said the roadway would likely be closed for two hours. Traffic in the area was backed up by approximately 4 miles at about 2 p.m.
All lanes had reopened by 3:40 p.m.
