Police are investigating a shooting in South Seattle that left a man with life-threatening injuries Thursday night.
The shooting happened in the 10200 block of 62nd Avenue South after 9 p.m.
Neighbors said a 94-year-old man shot another man outside his home.
When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest outside of a home. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Officers spoke with a man inside the home and he was taken into custody.
Police are continuing their investigation.
"Is it possible this is a home invasion. Again, that's a possibility, but it's still very early on in the investigation,” Seattle police Detective Patrick Michaud said.
