SEATTLE — Seattle police detectives are looking for witnesses and information after a woman was hit and killed by a vehicle on Beacon Hill.
Medics were called to the 3700 block of South Pilgrim Street around 11:15 a.m. Thursday after the woman was found unresponsive on the ground. She was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where she later died.
Seattle fire medics notified police because it appeared the woman had been hit by a vehicle. Investigators arrived and collected evidence at the scene.
King County Medical Examiner’s Office officials later confirmed the victim died after she was hit by a driver.
