Report of sinkhole on 4th Avenue South in Seattle

SEATTLE — Officials with the Department of Transportation say crews are responding to the report of a sinkhole opening along 4^th Avenue South in Seattle.

A water main broke there in the right, northbound lane.

The break forced one lane to be shut down, near Costco, as workers responded.

Seattle police are also reporting to the scene. Delays are possible through the evening commute.
