SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Pacific University was in lockdown Saturday night after receiving a bomb threat.
The lockdown was lifted at 8:36 p.m.
SPU-Alert: Lockdown has ended. Recent information indicates that there is no further threat to campus. SPU Security Officers will remain vigilant on campus.
No students were reported injured or missing.
The bomb threat was called in over the phone. Royal Brougham Pavillion, the university's gym, was evacuated.
SPU MODE Fashion Group, an on-campus club, was hosting a fashion show in the gym at the time.
The club says it is unsure if and when it will reschedule the annual event.
Due to a threat to the campus, the building that was housing the fashion show was evacuated. We will update everyone if/when we reschedule - decision will be made Monday.
