SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating a stabbing that happened Christmas evening at the SCCA House, a home for cancer patients.

There was a heavy police presence at the residence around 5:30 p.m.
Seattle police say a woman in the home was stabbed in the throat by an unknown man. Officers are reviewing security footage and are not yet sure if either the woman or the man who stabbed her are patients there.
The severity of the woman's injuries has not been determined.
