Days after an invitation was extended to President Obama to participate in the 42nd Annual Seattle Pride Parade, White House staff released Obama’s schedule – and he’s expected to leave before the parade start.
Obama, a supporter of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights, arrives about 3:20 p.m. Friday from California and is scheduled to speak at an event with Governor Jay Inslee at 8:25 p.m. He is staying in Seattle that night and is expected to leave Saturday morning, returning to Washington.
Inslee is running for reelection, and the event is at the Washington State Convention Center.
The Seattle Pride Parade will be livestreamed Sunday on kiro7.com and the KIRO 7 News App beginning at 7 a.m.
