A suspected bird strike diverted a jetliner to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport late Thursday afternoon.
An American Airlines spokeswoman told KIRO 7 News the plane landed safely. She says the airline considers it a suspected bird strike, but there appears to be no damage to the plane.
The flight should depart shortly.
Last year, a nearly two-foot dent was left on a plane after a bird strike. KIRO 7 Chopper images captured a visible dent on the nose cone.
