KETCHIKAN, Alaska — A captain of a sport fishing company had an up-close encounter with a humpback whale and it was captured on video.
The encounter happened at the Knudson Cove Marina in Ketchikan, Alaska on Monday.
Captain Cy Williams of Strike Zone Sportfishing saw the whale in the marina when he was on the docks.

Strike Zone Sportfishing said the whale was about five feet away from their boats.
