EVERETT, Wash. — A robbery ended in a fatal shooting overnight in Everett.
Shortly after midnight Tuesday, police were called to the 1600 block of 22nd Street in Everett for a report of shots fired inside an apartment.

Police and medics arrived to find that two men had been shot.
One was deceased and the other had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The survivor was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
Snohomish County officials say the suspect fled the apartment and drove away from the neighborhood before officers arrived.
Detectives with the major crimes unit are investigating and will be talking to the victim and witnesses to piece together what happened.
Officials say early indications are that the victims may have known the suspect.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine cause and manner of death of the victim and will provide his identity once his family has been notified.
