Repaving begins in Everett Tuesday

EVERETT, Wash. — Drivers in Snohomish County can expect some traffic delays to make for a smoother commute in the future.

Crews will be repaving streets in Everett Tuesday.

Crews will grind down and remove old pavement, install new traffic detection wires, and repave and re-stripe roads.

The first streets that will be repaved starting Tuesday are 49th Street Southwest, 51st Street Southwest, Crest Lane, East Crest Lane and Alder Street. Work on those streets will continue through Thursday.
