Another woman and three young children were inside the home at the time of the shooting.
Police said they are interviewing the woman but there were no witnesses to the shooting and no suspect has been identified.
Investigators are trying to piece together what happened and are looking to see if neighbors have surveillance video showing anyone coming and going from the home.
Police have been called to the home before but don’t know if those calls are related to the murder.
