SEATTLE — Fire crews responding to a report of a motorhome hanging over a hillside in Seattle’s Mount Baker neighborhood worked for hours to rescue a dog Tuesday.
Crews were called to 28th Avenue South and South Bayview Street at about 9:45 a.m.
Two neighbors said the RV is typically parked up the street and suspect that it somehow rolled on its own all the way down the hill.
No people were inside the vehicle but firefighters realized there was a dog inside.
Video from the scene showed a tow truck pulling the RV out of the ditch.
Firefighters were then able to get into the motorhome to remove the dog. Animal control was at the scene.
