Eastside firefighters have put out a fire that started in an RV and spread to an adjacent gas station along Renton-Issaquah Road early Wednesday.
The RV is parked on the side of the Shell gas station near 163rd Avenue Southeast in a semi-rural area of the east Renton Highlands.
The fire spread from the RV to the roof of the gas station building. Firefighters had to cut holes in the roof to vent the flames.
Firefighters don’t know if anyone had been living in the RV, but no one was inside at the time of the fire.
