Fife police looking for car in pedestrian hit-and-run

FIFE, Wash. — Fife police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a car similar to the one in the picture in this story that struck a pedestrian.

The vehicle is missing its driver’s side mirror. From the mirror, police were able to determine that the suspect vehicle is a 1994 to 1996 emerald green Toyota Camry.

Fife police said that on Thursday at 6:10 a.m., the Toyota hit a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk in the 6600 block of 20th Street East in Fife.

During the crash, the pedestrian’s body broke off the driver’s side mirror, which was recovered at the scene.

According to the pedestrian, the driver made no attempt to slow down or stop after the crash and was last seen headed toward Milton.
