An unidentified woman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver, and police are looking at surveillance video to help them find the driver.
It happened just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the 8700 block of South Hosmer St. in South Tacoma, according to police and witnesses.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Tacoma police spokeswoman Officer Loretta Cool said.
The driver is still at large, though video shows the vehicle was an older model Jeep Cherokee with two colors, brown and cream, according to Cool.
Surveillance shared with KIRO 7 shows the victim leaving an convenience store seconds before she was hit.
