TACOMA — Firefighters were working to extinguish a blaze in the cab of a semi-truck that was hauling onions on the Tacoma Tideflats Monday afternoon, according to the Tacoma Fire Department.
Chris Brink, a Battalion Chief for the department, said Monday afternoon there were no injuries that firefighters were aware of as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire is still being determined, Brink said.
The truck was near Milwaukee Way and East 11th Street.
