Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz evaded a question from CBS This Morning's Charlie Rose on Tuesday when Rose asked him if he regretted selling the Seattle SuperSonics now that the team is in Oklahoma City as the Thunder and is on the way to the NBA Finals.
“I wish the NBA well and I wish Oklahoma City well,” Schultz said. “I’m not here to talk about basketball, Charlie, I’m here to talk about the biggest problem facing America, and that is 14 million people unemployed, many Hispanics and African Americans, and businesses and business leaders need to do more.”
Schultz was on the show to talk about his Create Jobs for USA fund, which seeks to decrease America’s unemployment rate.
