Russell Wilson playing at MVP-type level

SEATTLE — Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is playing at an MVP-type level this season.

Wilson was the entirety of Seattle's offense on Monday Night Football, when he threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns and ran for an additional 86 yards and a TD.

Wilson and the Seahawks now turn their attention to the San Francisco 49ers – a team they beat at home in Week 2.

"When you watch the 49ers on film, they've really evolved, first of all," Wilson said. "I think that when you watch their defense, they played us pretty tight last game; it was a really tight game [and] we found a way to win, but they've really evolved and you can see that on film. They look great. They look like they're making plays and everything else."

"49ers are coming off a big win" against the New York Giants said Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll. "They played likely their best game of the year and looked good and they are pretty darn healthy right now. We know that we got to get ready and get right."

The 49ers could have their hands full with Wilson and his top target Doug Baldwin. Baldwin is tied for 10th in the NFL with 56 receptions.

"I'd rather throw the ball and let them catch and run, let Doug Baldwin catch and run, and let Tyler Lockett and Paul Richardson and Jimmy Graham and Luke Willson and Nick Vannett catch and do their thing," said Wilson with a smile.

After the Seahawks take on the 49ers in Santa Clara, Calif., they'll return to Seattle on Dec. 3 for their next game against the team with the best record in the NFL: the Philadelphia Eagles.
