Rob Munoz joined KIRO 7 in March of 2014. In just the first several months, he has contributed to KIRO 7 breaking news coverage of the news helicopter crash, the Oso landslide, SPU and Marysville Pilchuck HS shootings, among other stories. Rob came to Seattle from WFTS in Tampa, Florida. He has also reported at KSNV in Las Vegas and KXXV in Waco. Rob’s a Southern California native so he’s excited to be back on the West Coast. He graduated from Ohio State with a degree in Journalism, and is a proud Buckeye fanatic. So far, he’s loving Seattle and has been checking out the restaurants, sights, and outdoor activities Western Washington has to offer. You can typically find him relaxing with friends or putting some time in at the gym when he’s not reporting.
