SEATTLE — Seattle is celebrating Pride Week, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, events will look a little different.
On Monday, the Seattle Mariners announced that they will be joining T-Mobile and the Greater Seattle Business Association to commemorate Pride in Seattle.

The organization said instead of its annual Pride Night at T-Mobile Park, the Mariners will light the ballpark’s roof and signs in rainbow colors and fly the Pride flag at the stadium this weekend.
The Mariners and T-Mobile are also teaming up to make a $10,000 donation to the Greater Seattle Business Association Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to LGBTQ+ and allied student leaders from the state of Washington.
During Pride Week, the organization will be highlighting achievements of some of the 2020 GSBA Scholars on the Mariners’ social media accounts.
