"Pawn Stars" personality Richard Harrison, who died last month, had a will that does not include all three of his sons.
A rep for the family, Laura Herlovich, confirmed to USA TODAY Wednesday that the reality star known as "The Old Man" left his son Christopher Harrison out of his will.
Harrison's son Rick Harrison, who is also featured on the History Channel series about their Las Vegas pawn shop, said the issue was a personal matter. "The family had previously discussed this information and it is a private matter," Rick, 53, said in a statement issued by Herlovich.
Rick announced the passing of his father on Instagram on June 25, attributing his death to Parkinson's.
"He was my hero and I was fortunate to get a very cool ‘Old Man’ as my dad," Rick wrote on a tribute post. "That I got to share him with so many others and they got to see what a great family man he was is something I am grateful to have experienced with him."
"Pawn Stars" debuted in 2009 and documented the day-to-day happenings of the Nevada store Harrison ran with his son Rick and his grandson Corey Harrison, who is also a cast member.
Harrison helped assess items brought into the shop with a memorable blunt and no-nonsense approach. As the store sees many unique items, experts are often called on to determine value and authenticity.
