COWLITZ COUNTY, Wash. — A quick response to early-morning flames in Cowlitz County saved an estimated $100,000 worth of tools, Cowlitz Fire and Rescue says.
The fire occurred in the 200 block of Canvasback Drive.
Crews responded after a neighbor reported a cargo truck fire burning on the street in the neighborhood.
Crews had the fire under control in under 20 minutes.
The truck, estimated to be worth $40,000, is considered a complete loss, authorities said.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
