TACOMA, Washington — State Route 16 over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge was shut down for a while Friday afternoon after a mobile home fell off a truck, the Washington State Patrol said.
A KIRO 7 viewer first sent a message that the wreck had happened. The State Patrol later said high winds were partially to blame.
It's unknown if anyone was injured.
Traffic began moving on the bridge again at about 4 p.m., but large backups remained.
