Rick Stevenson is a filmmaker who has worked with the big names: Robert Redford, Meg Ryan, Christopher Plummer. But he discovered his real life's work when he turned his lens on kids in Seattle.
He committed to a long-range project, talking to children once a year through the "gauntlet of their adolescence." Along the way, the kids talked about their challenges and pain. But by telling their stories, they were also able to heal and grow.
More on that project called, "School of Life" can be found here: kiro.tv/28Nl05C
