BREMERTON, Wash. — According to authorities, a 911 caller reported about smoke and flames seen through binoculars from their home on Erlands Point at about 6 p.m.
Crews responded to the area and found a home was burning in the 300 block of Riddell Road. Firefighters saw flames on the outside of the front of the house and extending into the attack, and they were able to extinguish the fire.
The main floor of the home had moderate damage and there was smoke damage throughout.
No one was in the home during the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
Investigators are considering the fire as arson.
