Dozens of hungry customers filled the Chick-fil-A in Bellevue Thursday morning when it opened 6:30.
The chicken chain's Bellevue store is at 785 116th Ave NE, near Northeast 8th. Restaurants in Lynnwood and Tacoma are expected to open later this year.
The Bellevue location opens at 6:30 each day this week and remains open until 10. Chick-fil-A stores are not open on Sundays.
Not everyone is thrilled about the chain heading to the Sound.
The company's CEO has taken a public anti same-sex marriage stance, and some KIRO 7 viewers have said on Facebook they will be avoid the restaurant. During his election campaign, Seattle Mayor Ed Murray said he would push to keep the company out of the city.
KIRO 7 asked Seattle voters if they'll eat Chick-fil-A, and here's how they responded after it was announced the restaurant would open.
