Collision in Puyallup causes minor injuries, disrupts traffic

A collision in Puyallup on Sunday evening caused minor injuries. 

PUYALLUP, Wash. — A traffic collision in Puyallup on Sunday evening blocked northbound lanes of South Meridian.

Puyallup police said a utility truck struck the rear end of a car -- while exiting eastbound onto State Route 512.

Police officials were on the scene at around 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, where the dump truck had then crashed into a retaining wall.

Minor injuries were sustained by a driver and passenger, according to a Central Pierce Fire and Rescue official.
