SEATTLE — The pastor of Seattle megachurch Mars Hill, Mark Driscoll has resigned.
The church announced his resignation on its website early Wednesday afternoon.
Driscoll had been on a leave of absence for two months while a group of church elders investigated claims that Driscoll was a bully.
The internal investigation concluded Driscoll was guilty of arrogance and a quick temper, but not anything illegal.
Driscoll's resignation follows a series of job cuts and branch closings by Mars Hill.
