LYNNWOOD, Wash. — A broken refrigerant gas line caused a leak and evacuation in a Costco business center warehouse on Saturday afternoon.

The store was evacuated. When fire officials arrived, there was a visible cloud of gas in the air.

Fire officials say one man suffered a frost bite burn injury as a result of direct contact with the gas.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

The refrigerant line had burst, according to the Lynnwood Fire Department.

Fire crews shut the gas off at the valve, stopping the leak.

The gas was determined to be non-hazardous.
