SEATTLE — Intruders attacked a UW student with a stun gun after he interrupted a burglary at a home north of campus early Sunday morning, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.

Blake Lever and his roommate heard a loud noise around 1:15 a.m. at the home near 20th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 47th Street, and went to investigate.

Lever encountered a woman in his kitchen, carrying a bag holding what appeared to be a laptop stolen from the house.

When he confronted her, an intruder appeared and zapped him with a stun gun.

"I think I was just chock-full of adrenaline that I felt no pain. I just felt tingly all over. I definitely felt I was getting electrocuted, but it was no pain," Lever told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Graham Johnson.

The stun gun left a burn mark on Lever's arm.

Both burglars ran off.

Seattle police came in to take fingerprints and are actively investigating.
