Deputy injured, motorcyclist killed in crash on Camano Island

CAMANO ISLAND, Wash. — A deputy was injured and a motorcyclist was killed—during a crash on Camano Island.

The crash occurred Saturday night.

Police say the motorcyclist crossed the center-line and struck the patrol car head-on.

The deputy suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The roadway was blocked Saturday night at South Camano Drive and South Awa Lane.
